Honorable Mention - Apryl Hutson

SHALL I COMPARE THEE, LOVE, TO BRITNEY SPEARS?

Shall I compare thee, love, to Britney Spears?
Thou art way cuter! Thou hast bigger tits!
No silicone to earn thee extra cheers.
Implants shall never be thy greatest hits.
But oops! Fair Britney hath done it again
And I'm all like no way! Forswear it, tart!
For though her teenage body inspires sin,
O baby, one more time, thou hit'st me not!
No, never shall I be a slave 4 her.
Against the music, in the zone, she stays.
She's SO not cool, I totally aver,
While I thy finer, tighter ass do praise.
For even though she hath Madonna's kiss,
Ne'er could I love hair the shade of piss.

Sent as a joke to Poetry.com, this poem won an honorable mention in the Wergle Flomp humor poetry contest sponsored by Winning Writers. Author Apryl Hutson received a cash prize of $38.

About Apryl Hutson
Apryl K. Hutson lives in a haunted Elizabethan manor on a big, damp foggy island nor-nor'east of Ushant. She doesn't claim to be a poet (or indeed a poetess). She usually writes suspense, horror and erotica. More than that she's not prepared to tell.
