UNTITLED ("The clown wears his toothless frown...")

The clown wears his toothless frown
As cotton candy sticks to her wedding gown

Why do freaks like to smell girdles
My bosom is in the mouth of my neighbors gerbil

Just wanting to burp on my way to Antwerp
To find the zerconiam in my gumball

A catcher in the ryebread
Give me a side of tongue and some cold sore
The Blistex-Mex eats a burrito at the seashore

Poetry America I abhor
Time to kick it out the back door

Cheese Squirrels really can fly
There is a bug in my Starbucks Chai

Jump on my Bounce Dryer Sheets
Give me some tastey cotton leeks

Sent as a joke to PoetryAmerica, this poem was a finalist in the 2008 Wergle Flomp humor poetry contest sponsored by Winning Writers.
