THE THICK NOSE
O, nose, thou art thick!
The Suspiciously cheap Doc
With a degree off the Net
Who has quit using smack
Shall slice thru thy head
Of soft nasal parts;
& leave really quickly
When the bleeding starts.
Sent as a joke to The Famous Poets Society, this poem won an honorable mention in the 2009 Wergle Flomp humor poetry contest sponsored by Winning Writers. Author Debra Shulkes received a cash prize of $72.95.
