ON THE SUCCULENCE OF MY LOVER, AS COMPARED TO PROZAC
Shall I compare thee to a Prozac pill?
Thou art less plastic, dost not make me belch
Thou art more easy to unglue, and will
orgasmic pleasures give, when thou dost felch.
Sometime too much the Prozac mak'th me tight
denying juice of hump thy dick provides
'tis Prozac robs me of love's appetite
for ins and outs. Thy member, stiff'ning, slides
so merr'ly in my gate when fluoxetine
remains unused, and I to thee vouchsafe
the charms of zaftig figure, of pristine
pre-Prozac self, no dry or skinny waif.
As thou giv'st joy, for Prozac there's no yen,
though thy name's not on post-it notes or pen.
This poem was a finalist in the 2010 Wergle Flomp humor poetry contest sponsored by Winning Writers.
